Unjha Kasis Bhasma is a mineral-based Ayurvedic medicine prepared from Ferrous Sulfate (Green Vitriol) through the traditional processes of purification (Shodhana) and calcination (Marana). It is primarily used as a hematinic to treat iron-deficiency anemia and related conditions. Key Benefits and Uses Anemia (Pandu Roga): Being rich in bioavailable iron, it helps increase hemoglobin levels, improves oxygen transmission, and reduces symptoms like extreme fatigue, weakness, and dizziness. Menstrual Disorders: It acts as an emmenagogue to promote menstrual flow, making it beneficial for amenorrhea (absence of periods) and oligomenorrhea (scanty periods). It also helps manage dysmenorrhea (painful periods) due to its anti-spasmodic action.
