Arshkuthar Ras typically contains a blend of potent herbs and minerals: Herbal components: Danti Mool (root of Baliospermum montanum), Shunthi (dried ginger), Maricha (black pepper), Pippali (long pepper), Surankanda (elephant foot yam), Vamsha (bamboo silicacious concretions). Mineral components: Shuddha Parada (purified mercury), Shuddha Gandhaka (purified sulfur), Loha Bhasma (iron ash), Tamra Bhasma (copper ash). Salts/Alkalies: Shuddha Tankana (purified borax), Yavakshara (alkali preparation of barley), Saindhava Lavana (rock salt). Dosage and Administration The typical dosage is 1 to 2 tablets, once or twice a day, after meals. It is traditionally taken with lukewarm water, buttermilk, or gulkand (a sweet preserve of rose petals). The exact dosage should always be determined by a qualified Ayurvedic physician.
